Karakuri Ningyo carries out Calligraphy
Having seen autoportrait-robot-painter now, here is Japanese wooden doll Robot that performs Calligraphy.
This doll looks sweet and charming and looks more like a sculpture than a robot. It is a formation by Hisashige Tanaka the founder of Toshiba. In Japanese such dolls are called Karakuri Ningyo and were mechanized in Japan from the 18th century to 19th century.
